I believe that a strong issue is that many building owners truly in need of energy retrofits are merely landlords and are not directly feeling the effect or the extent of the issues of these older buildings and are unaware of the positive effects that simple sustainable design building principles can achieve. Price is more on our minds now than ever in my lifetime and with this government funding our best opportunity is to build local jobs. Ultimately I would love to help in any way I can to progress toward a more sustainable community.
