Minisplit duct in unconditioned space

Building a home in zone 5. The ductless minisplit installers ran the refrigerant lines through the unconditioned attic; presumably because this was easiest. Should I be concerned about the energy loss from the refrigerant lines? The minisplits will be used to heat the home.

Minisplit manufacturers require refrigerant lines to be insulated. As long as the installers followed these instructions and insulated the lines, there is no reason for you to worry.
While the body of your question concerns refrigerant lines, the title of your post refers to ducts. Do you also have a question about duct location?
