Spray Foam Sealing Failures?

Has anyone had direct experience or knowledge of spray applied closed cell foam insulation installed in newly framed stud walls having air sealing failures or gaps as a result of the wood studs shrinking after installation? Does the applied foam have enough bond and elastic properties to move with the framing lumber?
Thank you.
