Attaching a photo from Flickr

wjrobinson | Posted in General Questions on

Please set me straight again.

I have pictures on a multitude of sources. Flickr being where one resides.

I copied the url and popped open attachments, and the paste command is a no show.

Time to find all the threads to do with posting here maybe.

thanks
aj

Are you saying that you can not paste a link to flickr ...like this?
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/rodmurrow/394913805/

Instead of link, just the picture.

Also forgot how to "name" a link. Like, say your link above, name it "moisture issue"

and the little square with an arrow at the end of your link... that comes from GBA?

One thing I just read was that my flickr account is new and may not work correctly for a week due to some spam filter...

OK... so... want to post picture without posting the link address.

If you want to post a picture below your comment ... why not copy the photo from flickr to your desktop...and then ...attach it using "File attachments" and select "post"

Aha... now how do I "name a link" instead of showing the link....

    weather damage

Success, Thank you John, and also Lucas Durand who had a link up to....

    w3schools dot com

I was going to suggest the "img src" HTML tag in your post, but unfortunately, this tag is not in the list of permissible tags on the GBA forums. Perhaps GPA should consider allowing the "img src" tag for embedding images.
