A. Flashing details are trickier, and it can be harder to make changes (add a skylight, flash a new penetration).

Gauge of material and flashing for sure. See if you can go to a job currently in progress or completed and check out the flashing....use binoculars if it is a bit high. Look for dented smashed flashing or trim pieces. That may tell you the quality of their work. Call references and view their completed jobs.
