How do I adhere and waterproof a metal roofjack to a previously foamed flat roof?

sulcraft | Posted in General Questions on

I am putting in a exhaust fan in the bathroom and need to vent it out the roof.

    Pat,
    We need more information.

Is the spray foam installed as roofing (above the roof sheathing) or only as insulation (under the roof sheathing)?

If the spray foam has been installed under the roof sheathing, what material has been installed as roofing?

It has been installed as the finished roof-above the sheathing.

    Pat,
The type of spray foam used for roofing is very dense; it is a special formulation. To make sure that your installation is watertight, it's best to hire a roofer familiar with spray-foam roofing.
