Shed roof attachment to a wall with exterior insulation

Good morning all,
I’m interested in your thoughts on the detail of how to attach a roof system to a side wall with the following design details:
2×6 framing with dense-pack cellulose
1/2″ ply
soletex mento WRB
1.5″ roxul comfortboard 80
3/4 furring strips
lap siding.
for the decks and porch I’m hoping to use “Maine Deck brackets”
I’d prefer not to break the exterior insulation shell.

The tops of the shed roof rafters are going to need to bear on a horizontal 2x8 or 2x10 -- let's call it a 2x8. This horizontal 2x8 needs to be securely fastened to stand-offs that hold the 2x8 away from the wall sheathing. The 2x8 and the stand-offs -- probably blocks of lumber, but possibly blocks of dense EPS -- need to be securely fastened to the underlying framing.
If you don't have the confidence to design these stand-offs and the fastening schedule, talk to an engineer.
