The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) offers an opportunity for implementing cost-effective green rehabilitation strategies for REO properties. Enterprise Green Communities has developed model green rehabilitation specifications for NSP programs to introduce green alternatives for local, county and state acquisition rehab projects. Enterprise’ goal is to enable project teams in all climatic regions of the country to rehabilitate homes that are healthier, more energy efficient and better for the environment — without compromising affordability.
Enterprise and BuildingGreen have partnered to bring you — as the project teams and municipalities working to green these single family rehab projects — technical resources that build on Enterprise’s Green Rehabilitation Specifications. These resources are largely focused on the application of building science concepts that are critical to a project’s performance.
