What makes this product green?

  • Renewable energy equipment

The Dawn Solar System uses looped hydronic tubing concealed in a one-inch layer between the roof or wall sheathingMaterial, usually plywood or oriented strand board (OSB), but sometimes wooden boards, installed on the exterior of wall studs, rafters, or roof trusses; siding or roofing installed on the sheathing—sometimes over strapping to create a rainscreen. and the exterior finish material to capture solar heat. The collector system has a 25-year warranty and can be designed as an integrated system to produce heated air, water, and electricity from the same roof or wall area. The system is pre-engineered for each application. In cold climates, a closed-loop glycol system is recommended. The system qualifies for government energy incentives. Significantly less efficient per square foot than other dedicated solar thermal collector systems that are mounted outside the building's envelope, this invisible system instead uses much more collection area.
