Description

Aura is a low-VOCVolatile organic compound. An organic compound that evaporates readily into the atmosphere; as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, VOCs are organic compounds that volatize and then become involved in photochemical smog production. (48 g/l) interior paint appropriate for residential or commercial applications. Benjamin Moore’s Gennex waterborne colorant contains no VOCsVolatile organic compound. An organic compound that evaporates readily into the atmosphere; as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, VOCs are organic compounds that volatize and then become involved in photochemical smog production.. The colors bond with Aura’s proprietary resin (its ColorLock technology) to create a paint with excellent hide characteristics that does not require a primer, according to the company. Aura is durable, flows and levels like an alkyd paint, and is resistant to mildew, water spots, and wear from repeated washing. Certified to meet the Master Painter Institute's Green Performance standard, this paint is available in matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and as an interior/exterior color foundation over latex and alkyd finishes. One gallon covers approximately 350–400 ft².
