Description

Viroc is a structural cement-bonded particleboard made with portland cement and mineralized wood particles (71% portland cement, 18.5% wood fibers). It can be machined and worked with typical carpentry tools. Viroc is available in 4x8 sheets from 5/16" to 1-5/8" thicknesses. T&G, half-lap, and beveled edge are available. Due to the energy intensity of the cement content, this product should not be considered a green substitute for particleboard except where significant resistance to fire, moisture, termites, or vermin are required.
