Design a composting system that works inside

Composting returns valuable nutrients to the soil.
Outdoor compost piles are not the only way to create soil amendments from food and other organic waste. Odorless worm bins and other techniques can make composting possible in nearly any setting. A composting system must be monitored and maintained. Compost containers must be well designed to handle moisture without allowing the growth of mold.
