Install shut-off buttons or levers on showerheads

Shut-offs make it easier to conserve water.
Water often is left running longer than necessary in the shower. A shut-off incorporated into an aerator allows the user to stop the flow of water temporarily without affecting the temperature, when he or she is soaping up, for instance. Using shut-offs that allow a trickle flow reduces stress on water pipes.
