Let outdoor air help warm or cool the building
Mother Nature can help keep the house comfortable.
In a heating climate, draw supply air for the furnace from the warm, sunny side of the building. In a cooling climate, draw supply air from a cool, shady area. In all climates, draw outside air for ventilation from areas that aren't susceptible to low air quality. Among the places to avoid for supply vents: areas near dryer vents or near parking lots.
