Make sure condensate pans can drain

Standing water in condensate pans can result in the growth of mold and bacteria.
Most manufacturers offer air-handling units that will prevent the problem. Stainless-steel drain pans have the drain at the lowest point. The drain should have a trap that will work even if the condensate is on the suction side of the air handler. Waterless traps are even more effective.
