Reduce the number of outdoor lights
Light pollution is a growing problem.
Lots of bright lights outside usually aren't necessary for safety, and they waste energy. Where outdoor lighting is used, limit the number of fixtures and point the light toward the ground. Consider motion detectors and other controls that limit the length of time lights stay on.
