Tunnel under trees for utility lines
Site work can damage tree roots
Rather than digging a trench past a significant tree, and possibly cutting a large number of the tree’s roots in the process, tunnel under it for pipes or conduit. Horizontal tunneling equipment is available from some rental companies.
