Use the stack effect to cool buildings at night

Houses in many climates can benefit from natural ventilation.
Stack ventilation is a natural process of allowing heat to rise out of a building, similar to what happens in a chimney. When considering natural ventilation, make sure to include ventilation ports low in the building for cool air to enter and vents high in the building allowing warmer air to leave.
