Acelab for Architects Discusses Raydor’s Lightweight Acrylic Interior Sliding Walls and Doors

rockies63 | Posted in General Questions on

Acelab for Architects is a company directed by Christine Williamson and they feature non-sponsored discussions about innovative products. One of the videos caught my eye because it discusses an acrylic sliding door system that replaces tradition glass systems (which can be extremely heavy).

Acelab Channel.

Raydoor Custom Doors.

The presentation starts at about minute 7:00, after which there is a question and answer segment.

I thought one of the best features of the system is that it doesn’t require a floor track. If you’ve always wanted to install a glass room divider or sliding door system this seems to be a better (and cheaper) option to consider than glass.

And no, I do not work for Raydoor. Or Acelab.
