Community and Q&A

So I’m at work about 300 miles away and my roommate sends me these pictures. Sorry about quality but this is the best I have for now. Do I need to be urgently worried or can I repair this and move on with my life?

That's almost undoubtedly cellulose, which is made from ground-up newspapers. It's not hazardous.

Next time your roommate goes walking around in the attic, he should watch where he puts his feet.

Thank you! Once I got some close up images I thought so too. Just the pregnant girlfriend was very concerned. Thank you for putting my mind to ease.
