I’m replacing my old roof and going to use GAF  asphalt shingles.  But one section of the roof over my home office is 3/12 pitch.
I am sensitive to chemical smells, so suggestions to use an ice and water shield under the new shingles doesn’t seem like an option for me.  One roofer suggested a water resistant synthetic like GAF Tigerpaw.
Alternatively I wondered if there is a rolled roofing type that would outgas quickly and be a better roof choice for that part of the roof?
(Just to mention, I never had a leak with my old shingle roof on that section.)
