Cassette vs ducted mini-split?

Lizzieplants | Posted in Mechanicals on

We plan to have a 3 to 1 system with ducted mini-splits in the master bedroom/bath and upstairs (two offices and a guest room) to get the air where we need it. For the main first floor open plan living area I don’t want the wall mounted unit because of the way it looks. I was wondering if the ceiling cassette would be more efficient than the ducted unit at this location. Does anyone have experience using ducted and cassette units? We will also have an ultimate air HRV.
