Certainteed Membraine

Hello. 

I just read the instruction manual and it only mentions the need for
stapling the Membraine. Shouldn’t I seal the bottom wall plate with tape or an adhesive? I’m confused, thx!

    That's probably the instructions for using it as a vapour-retarder.

    From CertainTeed's site:

    " When installed with standard tape and sealing practices, creates an air barrier that has been tested under stringent performance guidelines.
