Code on placement of anchor bolts in bottom plate of 2×6 width-wise

idahobuild | Posted in General Questions on

Anyone know the code for bottom plate anchor bolt placement from the short edges 5.5 inch (2×6)?

I am not talking about the min. OC or from ends of boards, but rather from the edges.

My bottom plate is cantilevered 1.5 inches over the stem wall. So, about 4 inches are sitting on the stem wall and the other 1.5 inches is resting on the slab.  I want to verify the portions of the middle of the board that we can use to help ensure the ABs don’t blow out the stem wall when driven/drilled/inserted.

Image atch’d….very sketchy image.
