I have a 1901 home located in Indianapolis.

I’d like to come up with a plan to make it more energy efficient. I’ve been doing a decent amount of reading and know that I need to airseal and insulate the attic and the basement.

However, the home has brick basement walls with embedded joists.  After reading the article about embedded joists and insulation it seems prudent to first get a consultant.

That being said I’m looking for recommendations for a consultant in the Indianapolis area or one nearby/traveling through.
