What brand/model dehumidifier with pump do you recommend?
We just had our 1000sqft conditioned basement inspected for mold and were recommended to install a dehumidifier. We are in CZ4 humid. Thank you.

Energy Star rated dehumidifiers are more efficient and available at most big box stores. But why did the inspector recommend a dehumidifier? Is this new construction? The materials in new homes often need time to dry out. Do you have evidence of ongoing high humidity? How do you ventilate your house to ensure adequate air changes?
