Effectively venting an oven to the outside

dianerichards | Posted in General Questions on

I am doing a new build with a very open concept. I want to effectively vent all my cooking zone to keep smells and grease from going everywhere. I am figuring out that wall ovens vent to the inside of the house. I don’t want an oven with a cooktop, as I have independent induction cooktops that I use. So I want the oven to be separate from the burner part. How can I design a system where the oven can be vented to the outside of the house?

You could look at laboratory fume hoods for ideas.
