ERV boost switch

tech1234 | Posted in Mechanicals on

Hi guys I recently ordered the Panasonic 100 intelli-balance cold-weather ERV and I am having a hard time figuring out what switches to get for the bathroom boost function (10,20,30,60min) (2 baths). This will be a standalone Erv not tied into a ducted system as the house is heated with mini splits. Can anybody recommend a switch for this unit and also tell me if it’s controlling the Erv on a 24v circuit or 110v circuit.

I’ve read over all the information I can find online for the unit and can’t figure this out. There is some brief info on a wall switch here…

    Jamie,
I've looked (admittedly, not thoroughly) at the brochures and installation instructions for the Panasonic Intelli-Balance ERV, and I don't seen any information on a boost function for bathrooms. Are you sure that this ERV offers that capability?

I purchased this same ERV and never saw anything about a bathroom boost function

In the link above, page 6 wiring diagram shows a "wall switch" and page 7 talks about the "wall switch". Is this just an on/off switch?

It looks like the wall switch is a simple on/off switch. It's between the neutral line and a point labelled "S", which probably stands for switched power. It's almost certainly not a timed boost switch. All signs point to this unit not having that function.
