ERV duct question exhaust/intake

rondeaunotrondo | Posted in Mechanicals on

How do I duct the intake/exhaust through the rim Joist with the rafter running so close? I have a sect location for one of the intake/exhaust. Please see pictures. (unfortunately the pictures become rotated when I upload them, apologies.)

    Will,

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you planning to put the intake and exhaust in the same rafter bay?

      Hi Steve,

I have only A few rafter bays open, Thus need to Exit through the rim joist with a rafter in very close in proximity. Trying to figure out how one ducts out with the rafter that close to the rim Joist.
