Newaircondition | Posted in General Questions on

Hello, I am buying a new H/A unit. I am allergy to formaldehyde how can  make sure a Goodman H/A does not have formaldehyde in the insulation, or anywhere?

I generally check to see if products are Greenguard certified (http://greenguard.org/en/technicalCenter/tech_standards.aspx). I could not find info on the Greenguard website for HVAC equipment certification or Greenguard certification info on the Goodman website.

I would call Goodman and ask them specifically about their insulation spec and any IAQ certifications they have on their insulation.
