Framing: How do I insulate PEX tubing against mason wall

PLIERS | Posted in General Questions on

I plan on framing basement walls using eps foam and 2×4 framing in front.  I have some pex lines directly against wall and some tucked behind 4in pvc sewage pipe.  How do I insulate this I wall, do I put eps anywhere I can place against wall and spray pex tubing with expansion foam?  Is this too risky for any possible pipe burst?

    Joe,

Moving the pex would probably take about half an hour. Less time than it would take to try and patch in some make-shift insulation around them.
