Glue LVP joint to keep it shut?

I have a joint between two luxury vinyl planks (short side) that simply won’t stay closed. Can anyone recommend an adhesive to fuse the two planks at the joint? Ideally it would be permanent and any squeeze-out could be easily cleaned up without a chemical harmful to the floor.

I've had pretty good luck with superglue when gluing vinyl. Gotta clean it up though or it can leave a white patch or a glossy area though.
clear gorilla glue
cant post links because of all of the spam. Internet # 303508670 on homedepot. its sold pretty much everywhere, though.
i've had good luck with that. i bought some cheaper 4mm+1mm attached underlayment flooring for my house a few years ago and didn't like it very much, i ended up adding additional underlayment made for vinyl planks. except it required a minimum of 5mm flooring, otherwise there was a higher risk of the tongue and groove separating due to too much flex.
sure enough, the manufacture of the underlayment was right. my floor started to separate on the short sides. being stubborn, i took it all out and glued the end of every plank together with that gorilla glue. then i left used dumbbells, kettle balls, and anything i could find to keep weight on it for a couple of hours. it was so tedious and slow.
its been a couple of years and i haven't had a single piece separate even after rolling around relatively heavy things on wheels over spots i know that i should've made the subfloor more flat.
