Help with AAC construction details
Hello professionals,
After few weeks of research and estimate hunting I am leaning towards using AAC wall as exterior cladding over red steel main structure and concrete slab on metal deck floors for a 3 story residential building in Guyana South America.
I have gone through considerations using ICF and RCC but very weary of poor construction quality and the long construction time involved especially locally.
Guyana is tropical and rodents are common problems and was a stopping point for ICF as the foam would provide perfect home for rodents.
Seeking some additional advice on my choice so far and also possible construction details services.

AAC is a niche product in the US, so I would not expect a input from GBA (but maybe the experts will prove me wrong). :-)
Note that I’ve read it is worthwhile in some climates to add rigid insulation on the interior to bump up the R-value. Are you planning to use air conditioning? If so, I would pay close attention to air sealing.
