Low temperature heat pump compatible indoor units

Ok, let me get this straight. The low temp mini split heat pump (eg Hyperheat, Fuji XLTH) are very limited in their compatible indoor units. Essentially only wall mount. Can anyone explain why and if that will change. I’d much prefer to go with horizontal ducted mini split than wall mounted.

    All manufactures offer a universal hyper heat outdoor unit that is compatible with wall/floor/ceiling/ducted unit.

    This is a great resource for searching for these. Select "single zone compact ducted" for the slim ducted units and "single zone centrally ducted" for a multi position air handler that looks and works the same as a standard furnace.
