Finding Pro to Run Manual J and Manual D

jacktnelson | Posted in General Questions on

Hey all,

I am looking to find someone to do a full Manual J and Manual D for a reno project I have going in Salt Lake City.  I’ve done rough Manual J’s online and decent have a feel for system size (plus one of the two zones is an existing 2 ton ASHP installed at the end of last year), but I’d like to get a complete set of calcs so I can make sure my current HVAC contract has very clear direction.  They are good from a technical installation perspective, but I’m not as confident in their design abilities.  If anyone has a recommendation, it would be much appreciated.  Local is always nice, but not mandatory.  I have a full floor plan and insulation numbers, so hopefully it is relatively straight forward.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Jack

I had Energy Vanguard design the HVAC systems for my new home here in chilly New Hampshire, and things are looking good so far (we've only been in the house for about 6 weeks but we've had a few really cold nights and no issues maintaining the indoor temperature). My HVAC guy did a pretty decent job of following EV's design which was very clear and detailed.
