Mini split off gassing/high VOCs

In the midst of a 4 ductless head install. VOCs on my AWAIR device are very high still after a week of the units sitting inside (line sets not complete). AWAIR device showing 4000ppm. Normally it’s less than 100. I have some window AC units that have been on with windows closed. I can leave the windows open but the weather has been brutal with RH up to 90s recently. Has anyone else see this?

    Will,

    It wouldn't surprise me if these units had lots of leftover VOCs from the manufacturing process. (The HVAC version of new car smell.) I would crack open a window, turn on a bath fan, and monitor the AWAIR.
