Mitsubishi Multisplits – internal fan always running

m_sea | Posted in General Questions on

I am getting my Mitsubishi 42k system installed, and will have 4 heads connected. As the refrigerant circulates through the whole system, if one unit is calling for heat and the other units are not calling for anything, do the other “idle” units’ fan stop as well? If the fan does not stop on the other “idle” units, then the hot refrigerant will inadvertently warm those rooms up as well.

The default is for heads to have the fan on superlow to move air thru it for temperature sensing. You can disable that. If you do, you'd be better served with a remote thermostat of some sort.
