Painting the underside of zip roof overhangs left open?

BrunoF | Posted in General Questions on

I am planning to use zip sheeting my roof deck for a barn that I am building and plan to leave the underside of the overhangs open to below.  Are there any issues with adhesion of paint to the understand of Zip?

thx

I painted the underside of the Zip sheathing and the rafter tails on my barn and had no problems with adhesion. I did use a tinted bonding primer, which is my standard base coat for unfinished wood, and a few tape tests after a week showed no problems.
