Performance Tape Removal

pico_project | Posted in General Questions on

Has anyone had any luck removing performance tape from a surface?

Someone thought it would be a good idea to use Fentrim as a painters tape to protect some concrete block from paint and then trim it later. Of course it doesn’t come off cleanly and leaves a sticky residue that dirt just sticks too.

Has anyone has to remove tape before? What would be something safe for concrete that would also remove the sticky residue?

Fentrim is pretty expensive painters tape! I've used acetone for removing acrylic adhesive from EPDM, you can try that or goo gone. Won't be fun on concrete.
