Does anyone have any recommendations for a “Building Science-minded” insulation contractor near Oakland County Michigan? Trying to get a plan of attack for our insulation design on our future home. We like the idea of doing an airseal with Owens Corning Energy Complete (the pink gasket like flexible spray caulk) combined with Roxul comfortbatts in 2×6 walls and exterior Roxul Comfortboard IS insulation.

If this is a strategy we investigated and trust will work, do we even need an insulation contractor / consultant? I know the Owens Corning complete would need to be installed by someone else and could get pricey. Is there another similar option other than the Knauft EcoSeal?
