In taking a 19th century home down to the studs we have ended up with  9 contractor bags full of old insulation (fiberglass batts)–the wrong insulation, poorly installed and/or mostly mouse infested. We want to start clean, but is there any green way to get rid of the old insulation. We looked to see if there is any industry effort as with drop off locations for old paint????
