Seeking an experienced Rehau door installer’s help – St. Louis or remote

thefutureofamerica | Posted in Green Products and Materials on

I had a Rehau tilt and slide patio door installed a couple of years ago. The work was done by a local GC who had previously installed one other houseful of windows and doors from this supplier, but has since retired and said he wasn’t interested when I reached out for help.

The door has never worked QUITE as smoothly and effortlessly as I’d hoped. Every new person who comes into the house struggles with opening and closing it at least a little bit, and people naturally tend to just shove at it when it doesn’t slide or close/lock. It’s a large, heavy door – the slider is ~48×88.

I’m looking for anyone local to St. Louis who is experienced with this type of door mechanisms or someone who might be willing to spend an hour on Zoom with me to at least figure out what’s going on. Or suggestions of how to find a window/door person who might be able to help. Any help/advice is much appreciated.
