Senville LETO or AURA minisplits. Is there any reason not to consider either for a Pretty Good House?

artisanfarms | Posted in Energy Efficiency and Durability on

I’m getting ready to order my minisplits for my Pretty Good House renovation.  I have Senville LETO units for my shop and two my kids have three units that from the outside look equivalent at their homes and the farm.   We’ll be doing a DIY install and have all necessary tools.

Other than efficiency is there any reason to go with the AURA vs the LETO? Are there other brands I should also consider?  Many of the units look identical with the exception of the brand name.

Almost all off brand mini splits are made by either Gree or Midea. In most cases the off brand units use one of the budget lines from the manufacturer.

If you look at the cost, it is a couple hundred more for a top tier Midea/Gree unit. Much better value for the money.

This a great resource for comparing units:!/product_list/
