Slab insulation

arnoldk | Posted in General Questions on

Hi,

Is there a specific spray foam that should be used to fill in gap mostly around pipes and conduit when installing insulation below the slab prior to pouring?

The EPS foam I am using is rate for 16 PSI so I am not sure if the spray foam must also be rated for something similar. I was thinking of simply using something like the GREAT STUFF Gaps & Cracks.

Thank you,
Arnold

You don't need anything fancy here. You're just filling gaps to keep the concrete out. Any canned foam will work.
