Temperature sensors buried in new wall to test performance

JohnB_Dillon | Posted in Energy Efficiency and Durability on

Hi Folks – I’m in Climate zone 7. I’m buildng some new walls this summer for a remodel addition. 2×6 with mineral wool batts. zip panels on the outside for WRB and Air barrier. Then 3″ of continuous insualton on the outside of the sehathing before adding fir strips and siding. I’m kind of a data nerd and I can certainly bury some temp sensors in the wall cavity to check performance. I did a search and couldn’t find anything recent that recommended which sensors to purchase. Anyone have a suggestion?
