I was just doing the puzzle and one of the clues was “Space for venting?”

The answer? “Attic,” of course.

Malcolm, I was surprised that they chose that for a clue. Based on my interactions I wouldn't think that one person in 100 knows that the purpose of an unconditioned attic is to ventilate the roof. I'm not sure one person in a million knows.

Maybe that was supposed to be a "hard" question. They are pretty well known for their crosswords, and I know they have varying levels of difficulty. They just didn't anticipate building science minded people thinking it was so easy to answer :-)
