tilt-turn window treatments

prometheanfire | Posted in Mechanicals on

I’m looking for some non-destructive (adhesive?) window treatments for my windows.

The goal is mainly privacy, but some solar rejection in the summer wouldn’t go amiss.

Am I right to go with adhesive (to the wood, next to the glass) cellular shades?  I’ve found one that attaches to the glass, which would detach better (video on their site has them detaching it.  https://www.sustainableshades.com/tilt—turn-window-shades.

Some windows will have exterior shades available, this is for areas like bedrooms and bathrooms.

Specific product recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

meant for this to be in the interior design forum, not sure if an admin can fix :|

We went with cellular shades from MHZ (https://mhz-na.com). They offer different installation methods and we
went with the adhesive onto the glass. They offer a wide variety of shade types and fabrics. No regrets and very satisfied. Wait time was a few weeks as they are made and shipped from Germany.
