I have 3 Mitsubishi MLZ-KY06NA ceiling cassettes. One of the functions listed in the Operating Instructions manual (on pg EN-6) is manual vane control which allows the user to change the airflow direction. This works as described in all modes except HEAT mode where it doesn’t work at all.

I called Mitsubishi support which was not helpful at all. Before I contact my installer (also not helpful) I thought I’d ask here. If anyone here has these units can they comment whether or not vane control works in HEAT mode for them?

This is not likely a faulty unit because all 3 units don’t support vane control in HEAT mode so I’m thinking a software error of some kind….
