Vent through ceiling

jocko009 | Posted in General Questions on

I read your article on evaporative coolers, and the part about a vent through the ceiling into the attic to let the cool air blow though the attic and out the eves.leaving all the windows closed.
My question is,I know they make such a vent, I’ve had them in Arizona, But can not find any in Clarkson,WA.or this area.
Since I don’t know the name of the item I’m unable to find one on the internet.
thanks for any help.

    Jake,
For years I have recommended the Up-Dux pressure-relief vent. Unfortunately, the company may have recently gone out of business.
However, it appears that at least two suppliers still stock the Up-Dux relief vent:

If they do not carry the Up-Dux, perhaps you can ask the suppliers about other manufacturers. Good luck.
