Venting a SIP roof

Using metal roofing over SIPs — cathedral ceiling. Would like to vent roofing. How would this be done?

    I would install felt over the SIPS panels, then install 1x4 strapping across the roof on 24" centers... then attach the metal to the strapping.

    Easier and cheaper: use corrugated metal roofing, it you like the look.

    Remember, some roofs you can't even see from the street.

    Kevin... an exposed fastener metal roof over SIPS panels? He is MUCH safer installing concealed fastener snap-lock with the air space. As far as I'm concerned he should do everything possible to protect the SIPS now that he has them.
